The Team
With over 10 joint years of experience in the industry, spanning across multiple continents Reuben and Rosie bring a wealth of expertise, knowledge and care to their work.
Having met over a garden fence on Bloomfield Avenue in Bath, they began working on projects across the city and within a year Bloomfield Landscapes was born.
Passionate about using native planting and natural materials alongside sustainable practices, Bloomfield Landscapes endeavour to design and build garden landscapes that are functional yet diverse. From the design phase to build we cover all aspects of gardening, landscaping and design.
Rosie Marshall
Rosie has been working self-employed as a qualified RHS gardener for the last 2.5 years. She began her career in horticulture at a specialised herb farm and coupled with her studies gave her a fantastic foundation of plant knowledge. Now, with a varied client base across Bath and Bristol, her clients are at the heart of her work as she values those that are passionate about their gardens and those who are actively involved in the development of her work and wanting to see their gardens thrive.
Having worked on a number of projects alongside Reuben over the last year, Rosie is now training to be a garden designer. With a desire to work on projects that bring green spaces to life she believes that she aims to create beautiful, diverse and rich gardens that benefit both the environment and the people she works for.
Rosie believes in the importance of our connection to nature and how our gardens can be important sources for our physical and mental wellbeing.

Reuben Van de Peer
Coming from a green fingered family, Reuben naturally fell into gardening and landscaping. After igniting his passion for creating and nurturing natural spaces, his experience has developed throughout his 10 years in the industry. After working as a gardener in some of Sydney's most prestigious and exclusive properties, he returned to England and continued his work in Chelsea, Kensington and Clapham, helping people to create and maintain their private gardens and connections to nature.
It was at this point that he realised that he didn't want to just maintain gardens but wanted to build natural spaces to help others reconnect with nature, no matter where they are based.
His dream garden is one with many facets, and one that encourages people to find inspiration from the world around them, whether that's watching the reflection of the clouds in your water feature, hiding away in your shady pergola, or studying the bees as they enjoy your wildflower patch!
